Discovering what you truly desire in life holds tremendous significance. No matter what path you choose, if you don’t derive joy from your endeavors, you cannot experience genuine happiness, and it becomes a significant void in your life.

This pursuit of self-discovery is closely tied to courage. However, it’s important to note that it’s not about impulsively pursuing every option or experimenting with everything until you exclaim, “Eureka, this is it!” True bravery lies in being receptive to exploring your inner desires. Because what follows this exploration can be challenging… and most importantly, it leaves no room for excuses:

“I can’t seem to find what I truly want.”

“Is anyone really living life doing what they love?”

“After all, it’s just a job; let’s be pragmatic about it.”

These excuses, in fact, result from the comfort zones we’ve confined ourselves in. As long as we haven’t found what we truly want, the most significant excuse is that the familiar brings us comfort.

Upon discovery, you become responsible for treading the path you uncovered, making an irrevocable commitment to yourself, and fulfilling it regardless of challenges. This act of authentic self-assertion requires a level of courage not everyone can muster.

Undeniably, it’s not an effortless journey, and not everyone is obliged to embark upon it. However, if we aren’t willing to undertake this expedition, let’s, at the very least, be honest with ourselves.
